John Edward Mounsey 1923-2009

John Edward Mounsey, also known as Jack, was born to George and   Isabella Mounsey in Pouce Coupe, British Columbia on August 1, 1923.

Jack is predeceased by his parents George and Isabelle, sister Dorothy Dunn, brothers Frank Mounsey and George Mounsey.   John is survived by his children Ray (Nancy) Mounsey, Ron Mounsey and Lynn Huot, all of Victoria, British Columbia, granddaughter Kelly Huot (Thomas) of London, England, and grandson Mark Mounsey of Victoria, BC, sister Jean Groat and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Jack passed away on May 17, 2009 in Dawson Creek, British Columbia at 85 years of age.   A Celebration of life service was held on May 23, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Bergeron Funeral Chapel in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, officiated by Peggy Bergeron.  A private family inurnment was held in the Sunset Prairie Cemetery. 

Expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Jack by way of donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 105 – 490 Quebec Street, Prince George, B.C., V2L 5N5.
